Democrats Fighting the Wrong Battles

While it's true that the nomination of John Bolton as U.N. Ambassador is ridiculous, the complicity of America's "liberal" legislators in the passage of an unsustainable energy policy, authorization and continued support for a bogus war, and ratification of a deeply flawed hemispheric trade pact are all evidence that the Democrats are haggling over minutia while Rome burns. True leadership exists within the party, but the Democrats have become almost as beholden to lobbyists as the Republicans, who everyone already knows work for CEOs ? and not the citizens.
