Errol Maitland -- WBAI (Pacifica Radio) producer and technical director was beaten by police while reporting at the Patrick Dorismond funeral Saturday, March 25th, 2000. Maitland's gave verbal accounts via cell-phone of what was happening around him even as he was being beaten for his "disorderly conduct." As of Tuesday he was in the King's County hospital breathing with difficulty through an oxygen mask.
