Andyland has been running the Linux-based operating systems on Web servers since 1995, and on workstations for about as long. Currently, the same machine is used for programming, production, and Web serving. It hardly ever needs to be rebooted and it never crashes. Since 2003 the Gentoo distribution http://gentoo.org has been used, and the artist endorses it wholeheartedly.
